Rooted in Faith, Inspired by Legacy
Odd Media Solutions is a testament to the power of faith, resilience, and the remarkable influence of Black women—both past and present. It began with a 20-something Black girl from rural Kentucky who found inspiration in trailblazers like Bell Hooks, a revolutionary voice in feminism and social justice, whose roots also trace back to this soil. Their legacies remind us that no matter where we start, the possibilities are limitless when we trust our purpose.
What started as a way to earn extra cash evolved into a mission-driven company. Through life’s highs and lows, God revealed a greater plan. Odd Media became a reflection of my journey as I rediscovered my identity as a Black woman, embracing the uniqueness of my story and the creative power it holds to uplift others.

Like the women who paved the way before me, my journey has crossed boundaries—geographically and spiritually. Opportunities led me from Kentucky to both coasts of the U.S. and even abroad. The murder of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, KY, in 2020 became a turning point, grounding my work in the urgency of telling Black stories and amplifying Black voices.
Living in Los Angeles during the pandemic revealed God’s vision for Odd Media. Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of Black women like Madam C.J. Walker, I saw how creativity and resourcefulness could build bridges, unite communities, and spark movements. By 2023, I returned to Kentucky, bringing with me the lessons and experiences from larger cities, ready to serve my community with even greater purpose.
